These Yale X5 6 Pin British Standard kitemarked rim cylinders have been designed to provide resistance against common attack methods, including picking and bumping.
Kitemarked and and tested to meet BS EN 1303:2006 standards, this rim cylinder is a high security version of the standard rim cylinder supplied with mots nightlatches and is suitable as a replacement/upgrade to help increase the level of security. supplied with 2 genuine Yale keys and 2 new retaining screws for installation.
This is a British Standard Rim cylinder, however it is just one component of what makes up a complete nightlatch and its use alone may not satisfy the requirements of the standard you wish to achieve. As well as ensuring a tested resistance to attack, British Standard products are often needed to satisfy the requirements of an insurers policy stipulations. Operation: Lift Lever or Split Spindle
Latch reversal: Undo the screw in the latch to remove. Reverse, reinsert and replace screw
Nightlatch reversal: To reverse nightlatch function first throw locking points and look for a square hole in the side of the case adjacent to the latch.
On one side there will be a green coloured part, this is currently the inside of the lock and from this side the handle will withdraw the latch, The side without the green coloured part will only withdraw the latch via the key.
Remove the latch and Insert a flat bladed screw driver into the slot, Push in screwdriver and hold down while turning 180 degrees so the green coloured part is now on the opposite side. Its very important to keep the part pushed down during turning or function will not reverse properly. The green coloured part now appears on the opposite side of the case , Replace the latch and function is now reversed.

This Yale YS170 series genuine gearbox is only for the Yale Doormaster multipoint locks available in 35mm and 45mm backsets. The lock features a latch and hook bolt.
YS170 gearboxes measure 217mm high by backset +18mm wide. The latch is 28mm high and there is 52mm from the bottom of the latch to the top of the hook. The hook measures 28mm high.
It’s worth noting that the latch reversal instructions for a YS170 lock are printed on a sticker on the side of the gearbox.

This gearbox suits locks that were fitted to Zenith windows for many years. The locks are obsolete, but this gearbox will often provide a neat way to repair an existing lock.

Operation: Lift lever or double spindle
Latch reversal: Lay the multipoint lock strip on the floor with the latch and deadbolt facing to the left. undo the 5 screws on the side of the case, remove the flat positioning plate, remove the latch clip, twist the latch into the desired position, reinsert the flat positioning plate and latch clip, replace the cover, and tighten the screws.
These Zoo Foxcote Foundries traditional, cottage style handles feature a hammered Black finish with a twisted handle.
This handle has a backplate measuring 220mm and screw centres measuring 212mm and is compatible with most 92mm PZ multipoint locks.
