These Union 2134 5 lever mortice deadlocks are non-handed and designed for timber doors up to 54mm thick. It’s 14mm brass deadbolt contains hardened steel rollers for resistance against hacksawing.

Latch Reversal: Push in the latch, and undo the screw inside of the lock case (adjacent to the latch) to remove the latch. reverse and reinsert.

This genuine Union L22180 gearbox suits UPVC and aluminium doors and would have originally been supplied with screw-in multipoint hooks or deadbolts. No strike plate is supplied. Supplied without a faceplate (discontinued by manufacturer), snib engages upon closing the door and automatically deadlock latch. Forend is 223mm x 25mm.

Latch reversal: Push the latch clear of the faceplate, twist the latch to reverse, and release.
